The story begins 10 years earlier when Linda, an unfaithful wife, helps her lover dispose of the body of her murdered husband. Unbeknown to her, she is carrying the unborn child of her dead husband.

Years go by whilst the woman and her lover raise the boy together until one stormy night a stranger seeks refuge at their home. Against her lover’s wishes, Linda takes in the stranger who mysteriously seems to know the place well and immediately establishes a relationship with the boy.

A “white knuckle” tension gradually builds as the stranger reveals his past. Haunted by guilt and crazed with terror, the lovers confront the stranger.
